Sharanya Vidyashankar

Chief Technical Officer

Ms. Sharanya Vidyashankar has 8 plus years of experience in the software industry specializing in Business Intelligence and Database, Data Visualization and Data Warehouse sector. Upon successful completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sharanya has worked in major MNCs like Infosys Technology Limited, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Pathfinder Global enterprise limited in senior managerial roles. She brings in a legacy and experience of working with multiple top-notch clients in varied sectors across the globe in the past years.

Marwan Akeel

Head Middle Eastern Operations ( based in KSA)

Mr. Akeel has over twenty years of experience in sales and mediation. Prior to Proximity Technology, Mr. Akeel was the Business Development Manager of For Your Total Care Online, a leading independent comprehensive range of services provider for ICT and logistics services. Mr. Akeel was the General Manager of Shades Trading Establishment which was the Exclusive agent for certain international luxury brands in KSA which later was diversified into Plasma Ion Air Purification for automobiles, residential and commercial buildings. When Shades Trading partnered with Uplink International L.L.C. based in Southern California and Mr. Akeel became the Managing Director of Operations in KSA. Mr. Akeel is also a Certified International Supply Chain Manager, and graduated from theUniversity Of Southern California, Marshall School Of Business.

Sanjukta Ray

Director and Board Member

A veteran in the IT industry, and a natural innovator, Sanjukta Ray is the Co-Founder and Director of Proximity Technology Inc. A technocrat at heart, Sanjukta is the CEO of Dubai Leading Technologies, where she brings over a decade of experience in developing new solutions to manage the ever-changing customer requirements, staying abreast of emerging technologies to ensure the highest efficiencies and best practice. Sanjukta holds a Masters diploma and coupled with a diploma in Software technologies, she has worked in the top MNCs like Compaq Computers and Hughes Software Systems, which equips her with the global perspective to drive a software company in the ever-changing dynamics of the tech-world.

Kenneth Volet

President and CEO

Mr. Volet brings more than thirty years of technical research, systems operations and senior management experience to the Company. Prior to Proximity Technology, Mr. Volet was Chief Executive Officer of RantNetwork, developers of complex language translation systems and Maximal Innovative Intelligence, an overseas-based supplier of data mining and visualization technology acquired by Microsoft. Mr. Volet was also a co-founder and managing director of ebi Solutions, a software systems and consultancy services company in the complex analytics marketplace. ebi Solutions was later merged with Gentia Software where Mr. Volet subsequently served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to co-founding ebi Solutions, Mr. Volet was Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Seagate Software IMG. Seagate Software IMG was formed in part through the acquisition of Holistic Systems Ltd where Mr. Volet served for eight years as President and CEO of its North American subsidiary. Mr. Volet has also served as a Board Member for a number of technology companies and holds both a BA in Physics and a MBA from Northeastern University.
